With severe weather in the forecast across most of Pennsylvania on Sunday night, the National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for areas including Centre County.

As the storm moved into Alabama, a possible tornado knocked out power and damaged mobile homes in Troy, about 50 miles (80 kilometers) south of Montgomery. "Additional surveys will likely be needed on Monday in this area".

A tornado ripped through Franklin, Texas, on Saturday as the National Weather Service in the state posted one tornado warning after another. No injuries were reported there, but officials said several businesses and vehicles were damaged.

The severe weather is expected to continue into late Sunday evening. "We are just a mess", Monroe County Sheriff Cecil Cantrell told the outlet. Dozens of homes in Hamilton, Mississippi, have been completely leveled.
