Potential Winter Storm For SE Wyoming Wednesday

The NWS office in Aberdeen, S.D., where Fleegel is based, is urging people to change their travel plans to account for a storm that it now expects to bring snow in two waves, from 3 a.m.to 6 p.m. Wednesday and from 3 a.m. Thursday to 6 a.m. Friday.

Nailing down totals is not fun -- it'll be 80F today for Pete's sake!

Another extraordinary storm is expected to slam Nebraska this week, piling on misery and possibly more flooding, and maybe making its way into the record books. "It would melt relatively quickly in already bulging rivers".

WHAT.Heavy snow possible. Total snow accumulations of 2 to 8 inches possible.

Parts of South Dakota may get up to 30 inches of snow.

This evening, some approaching light rain will transition to a light, wet snow. "Really think about whether you need to travel", the South Dakota public safety tweeted Wednesday.

Promising to expedite early delivery of the equipment to the Pakistani armed forces in 2007, lieutenant-general Jeffrey B. This fact was strongly denied by India which reitereated that the Indian Air Force had indeed shot down an F-16.

This heavy snow, possibly starting out as rain, is likely to fall over areas still suffering flooding from last month's bomb cyclone and melting snow over the past few weeks, including the flood-ravaged Missouri Valley.

This will be a WINDY system. Wind gusts could reach 65 to 70 miles per hour with up to 5 to 10 inches of snow.

The weather service said: "Behind the storm and an associated dryline, conditions will be favorable for fire weather throughout the Southwest and Southern/Central Plains, as high sustained winds and even higher gusts combine with very dry humidities". Areas of blowing snow could significantly reduce visibility.

Winter storm warnings and watches stretch from the Rockies to the Great Lakes. Caribou has had continuous snow cover since November 10, 2018, and 23 inches of snow remain on the ground in a region that has seen 158.5 inches over the course of the season, according to the weather service. "This will feature blizzard conditions and some ice on the cold side with severe thunderstorms on the warm side".

This powerful storm is forecast to develop Tuesday in the Rockies, where it will rapidly intensify and bring blizzard conditions to the Plains on Wednesday. "We're reaching out to any kind of support we can get". We also think the need to include Denver proper (and numerous northern/northwestern urban corridor communities) is borderline. Cities that will see the most snow include Rapid City, North Platte, Sioux Falls, Minneapolis, La Crosse, and Marquette.

While schools in Androscoggin, Franklin and Oxford counties started as usual Monday morning, many such as RSU 4 and RSU 16 were dismissing students early. A strong spring storm is rolling into Colorado as we speak.
