People have decided to make Modi PM again: Amit Shah

Modi has made his strong stance on national security a key part of the BJP's election campaign, following a recent flare up in tensions with arch foe Pakistan, which also lays claims to Kashmir.

"The BJP manifesto was created in a closed room".

Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Shiv Sena president Uddhav Thackeray will share a stage on Tuesday while campaigning for their alliance in the 17th Lok Sabha elections.

The prime minister said that if the next Indian government were led by the opposition Congress party, it might be too scared to seek a settlement with Pakistan over Indian-occupied Kashmir, fearing a backlash from the right.

Groups of Hindu nationalists are increasingly carrying out attacks against Muslims to protect revered cattle - known as "cow vigilante mobs" - killing 24 people since 2010.

Continuing his attack on the Congress' election manifesto, PM Modi said their manifesto stood for Pakistan more than for India on the issue of Jammu and Kashmir and terrorism.

He also has a close relation with Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu , who is seeking re-election Tuesday. Both moves delighted Israel, infuriated Palestinian and Arab leaders, and were opposed by most US allies.

Listing out the various schemes undertaken during the last five years by the Modi Government for the development of Telangana, Mr Shah asked what former Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and UPA Chairperson Sonia Gandhi did for the growth of the state.

The nominees from the seat are: Muhammad Akbar Lone of the National Conference, Farooq Ahmad Mir of the Congress, Raja Aijaz Ali of the People's Conference, Mohammad Maqbool War of the BJP, Jahangir Khan of the NPP, Abdul Qayoom Wani of the PDP and independent candidates Javid Ahmad Qureshi, Syed Najeeb Shah Naqvi and Abdul Rashid Sheikh.

The next day, Pakistani jets fired at various targets from across the Line of Control.

Taking a dig at Pakistan, Modi said first they came in media and said they had two pilots in their captivity but by evening they said they only had one pilot. The pilot was released on March 1 as a gesture of peace by the Pakistani government.

On the other hand, Modi said under the BJP's watch it was the policy of "New India" that it will kill terrorists barging into their dens.

Mr Sharma, 48, was a leader of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS), which is the influential parent organisation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's BJP.
