Grease Movie Prequel in Development

Paramount Players, a division of Paramount Pictures, is developing a prequel to the famed 1978 musical film Grease. John August, who wrote the film Big Fish and worked on the forthcoming Aladdin live-action remake, is writing the script. The film follows the lives of greaser Danny Zuko and Australian transfer student Sandy Olsson who develop an attraction for each other.

The story of how lovers Danny Zuko (John Travolta) and Sandy Olsson (Olivia Newton-John) met before they reunite at the Rydell High School in the 1978 classic rom-com is being developed for the big screen. Apparently, Danny's recollection of "the fling" is "more raunchy", while Sandy remembers their meet cute being "more innocent", according to the report.

"The entire lore of Sandy and Danny in Grease is that you don't know exactly what happened that summer smh", one person tweeted; referencing the character's slightly different versions of events in Summer Nights.

Paramount has not announced a release date or cast for "Summer Loving" as yet. Most recently, FOX broadcast a live production of Grease, known as Grease: Live, as a 2016 television special starring Julianne Hough, Aaron Tveit, and Vanessa Hudgens.

GOP Rep: Immigrants Know Trump Is Serious About Border
The Trump administration is apparently trying to appeal to Jewish voters, who traditionally support the Democratic Party. Trump was slow to condemn white supremacists who marched violently in Charlottesville, Va., in 2017.

"Grease" fans will soon get to see another chapter of Danny and Sandy's love story.

A 1982 sequel movie starring Michelle Pfeiffer failed to deliver however, earning little more than $15 million at the United States box office.

She said: "I liked it".
