Dwyane Wade Got A Triple-Double In His Final NBA Game

Yes, there was a game, with a final score of Brooklyn Nets 113, Miami Heat 94.

Wade's career averages - 22.0 points, 5.4 assists, 4.7 rebounds and 1.5 steals per game - speak to his versatile all-around impact.

Wade technically played five years with LeBron, with four of them coming in Miami from 2010 through 2014 and one year with the Cleveland Cavaliers in 2017-18 before he was ultimately traded back to the Heat at the trade deadline.

Along the way, he's become one of the most popular figures in the history of Miami sports and is widely considered the best player in franchise history. And I gotta believe Pierce would be laughing if he saw this. Miami was eliminated from contention for it despite its victory Tuesday.

"I'm still just amazed, even after all these years", Heat coach Erik Spoelstra said. "Unfortunately for our organization and our team, we weren't able to put ourselves in a position to win enough games to be in the playoffs, but for what I wanted for this season, I'm happy to say that I completed that". He finished with 23,165.

Throughout his final season, Wade has been swapping jerseys with fellow National Basketball Association players after games.

Nets Injuries: Allen Crabbe: out (knee), DeMarre Carroll: out (wrist), Joe Harris: day to day (foot). Anthony, who helped persuade Wade to return this season, didn't play long this season before parting ways with Houston.

The Nets honored Wade with a video tribute in pregame introductions by highlighting some of his notable shots against them over the course of a 16-year career while the text on the screen read "Thanks for the Memories".
