Steelers' Brown: 'It's all about respect'

Keeping Fort around should at least push inside linebacker down in terms of draft priority and allow Pittsburgh to focus on rebuilding the secondary and maybe even finding Antonio Brown's replacement. "Not that I know of".

Colbert added the Steelers haven't ruled out any teams as potential trade partners, but would prefer to trade Brown to a team they don't play next season. They're not changing. You know what I mean?

Brown owns an NFL-record six consecutive 100-catch seasons, but he frustrated the organization when he failed to show up for a workday in Week 17 and was benched for the season finale.

The belief was that if the 49ers have an interest in Brown, discussions might heat up in Indianapolis this week.

Colbert clarified the situation when he spoke at the combine Wednesday, indicating it's no sure thing Brown has played his last game for Pittsburgh. I want them to step up and say, 'Hey Ben, what do I have to do?

The House agreed to the resolution 245-182, with 13 Republicans joining all Democrats in voting for the legislation to rescind Trump's declaration.

In an interview with ESPN, which will air over the weekend, Brown said he isn't "angry" with the Steelers but still wants to move on from the franchise.

"Antonio Brown is one of the best players in the National Football League", Colbert said. "If not then we'll deal with that when we get there". There's 52 kids and it's this guy (Roethlisberger).

In previous posts and rants on social media, the seven-time Pro Bowler has cast blame onto Ben Roethlisberger for his discontent, saying the longtime Steelers quarterback has an "owner mentality" and can call out any player or coach without outcome, suggesting the two lack a "mutual respect" for each other.

"You know my policy is I pretty much call everybody at some point in time about every name that flies out there just to see", Jets general manager Mike Maccagnan said. Quite frankly, if all else fails, I would even be willing to offer the second overall pick in the 2019 NFL Draft for Brown.
