‘School Of Rock’ actor arrested for stealing guitars and an amplifier

Joey Gaydos Jr, who rose to fame as the Zack "Attack" Mooneyham in the 2003 film, is said to be facing felony charges in Florida for larceny and grand theft. According To TMZ, the former child star has been arrested four times in the last five weeks for stealing various guitars and an amplifier from multiple music stores in the area.

It's been reported that actor Joey Gaydos Jr would walk into the stores and ask to test the equipment, prior to walking out with the merchandise without paying a dime.

Police are also accusing Gaydos of trying to sell some of the guitars at pawn shops.

Gaydos, who played Zack "Zack-Attack" Mooneyham in the 2003 family comedy starring Jack Black, was also arrested February 11 in Manatee County and February 14 in Charlotte County, according to WWSB.

Joey has stolen a blue Les Paul Epiphone Prophecy priced at $800, a black Fender Stratocaster priced at $699, and a Gibson Les Paul gold top priced at $1,900. Reportedly, he was arrested following the Sam Ash heist.

Sadly, this isn't the first time that Joey Gaydos Jr. has had a run-in with law enforcement, having been arrested on a drink-driving charge as a 17-year-old in 2009.

According to police, Gaydos Jr., who confessed and blamed the spree on a drug problem, has entered not guilty pleas in court for the guitars.
