Report filed with WIAA after incident with ex-Packers coach Mike McCarthy

Report filed with WIAA after incident with ex-Packers coach Mike McCarthy

On Tuesday night Notre Dame Academy, where McCarthy's step son plays, lost by one point to Pulaski High School in a regional playoff game to end their season.

Pulaski's athletic director told FOX 11 that McCarthy used "unsportsmanlike language" during the heated and "unacceptable" exchange.

McCarthy had a pretty successful career in Green Bay.

Notre Dame Academy athletic director Steph Mathu told FOX 11 that the school is looking into the incident. Pulaski defeated Notre Dame 67-66. The Pulaski School District says the report was not filed by the district, but by game officials involved in the incident.

Mike McCarthy might not have realized working the officials in the National Football League isn't the same as working them in high school.

Bencic tops 2-time Dubai champ Svitolina; Kvitova in final
The third began with three straight breaks; but Kvitova settled into hold serve and run out the victor after more than two hours. Svitolina stormed back in style to claim the second set a conquer a decisive 5-3 lead in the second.

"We have been contacted by the WIAA regarding last night's basketball game, and we are now looking further into this situation", the statement said.

We haven't heard much from Mike McCarthy since the Packers fired him as head coach in early December. "We will continue to stress the importance of sportsmanship and respect to our students, parents, fans, and community members". "So that is important, so we've taken some measures in our conference, specifically at our school, we do things maybe that are a little different".

He compiled a 135-85-2 record in almost 13 full seasons with the team, and guided the Packers to the franchise's fourth Super Bowl victory in 2010.

McCarthy, 55, still lives in the Green Bay area with his wife, Jessica, and their five children. That ire is often directed at a coach, over playing time, etc.
