R. Kelly fails to pay child support, headed back to jail

Savage's lawyer on Wednesday also disputed Kelly's assertions that they had handed over or sold Jocelyn. His hands weren't cuffed. Cook County Sheriff's Office spokeswoman Sophia Ansari told The Associated Press that Kelly was detained, and will be transferred to the county jail. Her response saw her lash out at her parents and everyone else who firmly believes that the "Bump N' Grind" singer is, in fact, guilty of sexual assault.

When asked about his relationship with the women, 23-year-old Joycelyn Savage and 21-year-old Azriel Clary, Kelly said, "I love 'em and it's nearly - it's like they're my girlfriends". He states that the two girls he's accused of brainwashing and holding in his alleged sex cult... were handed over to him by their parents who wanted fame. He will likely remain in jail until his next court hearing on March 13.

Kelly was taken into custody in Chicago for owing more than $161,000 in child support to his three children with ex-wife Andrea Kelly.

Earlier today, Kelly appeared on "CBS This Morning," marking his first interview since been arrested on charges of sexual abuse.

The 52-year-old recording artist has been trailed for decades by allegations that he violated underage girls and women and held some as virtual slaves. "R Kelly took me to a black room where unspeakable things happened.' This is what they're saying about you", King said in another point during the conversation. His defense attorney said at the time that Kelly's finances were "a mess".

On Wednesday, Gerald Griggs, an attorney representing Jocelyn Savage's family, responded to the interview via Twitter. Cook County prosecutors allege he abused four victims, three of them underage girls, over a span of 12 years.

He said the women accusing him were all lying, at times crying and yelling during the interview.

Kelly suggested during his interview that the woman's parents were in it for the money and blamed them for his relationship with their daughter, saying they brought her to watch him perform when she was a teenager. He denies doing anything against their will.

In their joint interview, Savage and Clary insisted they're both in consensual relationships with Kelly and are completely happy living with him.

"Why would you take your daughter - if I were going to take my daughter and she's 19 years old to a 49-year-old icon whatever, celebrity, R. Kelly concert, whoever it is, I'm not going to put her on the stage and leave her". He says he needs someone to help him "not have a big heart".

CBS said it interviewed Kelly for 80 minutes.
