Montez Sweat turns heads with 40-yard dash at 2019 NFL Combine

On Sunday, Sweat ran a record-setting time of 4.41 seconds (for defensive linemen) in the 40-yard dash in front of National Football League coaches, general managers, and scouts.

The 2019 NFL Scouting Combine has wrapped up in Indianapolis, with the final player drills and tests taking place on Monday afternoon.

The two pro prospects from rival colleges in MS left the NFL's annual scouting combine as the two biggest winners of the weeklong event.

Not pictured in the photo are Giants wide receiver Odell Beckham and running back Saquon Barkley, who both frequently train together in UCLA during the offseason.

His performance was even better.

Baity didn't turn in a 40-yard dash but posted an impressive 38.5-inch vertical leap (all the more impressive at 6'2, 197 pounds), a 127.0 inch broad jump, a 7.06 second 3-cone drill and a 4.31-second 20-yard shuttle. But at the end of the day, it is Woods who has the most bragging rights among the Ole Miss alumni.

His lower body explosiveness did not compare as well to the safeties in this year's draft and while Amadi is expected to play as a Nickel corner, his jump results were behind most of the cornerbacks as well.

Also Sunday, Alabama D-lineman Quinnen Williams ran a 4.83 40-yard dash. Zedrick Woods, the standout Rebels defensive back, just ran the fastest 40-yard dash, not just for his position group, but for the entire combine in Indianapolis. Brown followed, running a slightly slower 4.50.
