Jose Mourinho Would Have Handled Celtic Exit Differently To Brendan Rodgers

But after the defeat Rodgers said there is "a lot of potential" within the squad - the second youngest in the Premier League.

Watford's Andre Gray scored a stoppage-time victor as Leicester City began life under new manager Brendan Rodgers in underwhelming fashion, suffering a 2-1 defeat at his former club in the English Premier League yesterday.

It took a while for Leicester to get to grips with their job, but eventually in the second half they had a good spell, one which finally they got back on level terms during, as Jamie Vardy latched on to Youri Tielemans' pass to find the back of the net.

Rodgers was announced over the public address system as the former Watford manager before the start, but the boos that followed rang more of duty than spite.

Watford's first goal came from a free kick after just five minutes by Gerard Deulofeu, whose wicked delivery was met by Troy Deeney to give the Hornets the lead.

Leicester responded to the goal with flickers of promise, but their first half was one of almost moments rather than clear chances.

How to enable Facebook Messenger’s secret dark mode on iOS
Enabling the mode is done in a bit of an odd way: You have to send a moon emoji to someone, specifically the half crescent. The Social media giant first announced a dark mode for its Facebook Messenger app at last year's F8 developer conference.

"I don't know if it's more hard but it's different", Gracia said.

Asked if he could return to Celtic as manager, Northern Irishman Rodgers said: "Yes".

"That's something we'll get the more we work together. I prefer to enjoy every game and do my best, it's the best way to enjoy something special at the end".

At 35 years old, it's not inconceivable that Leicester fans could get their wish at the end of the current season as Rodgers looks to put his own fingerprint on his team and change the old guard who have taken the club to unimaginable heights. I was pleased despite not getting the result.

"It would be great to have that opportunity going into the last couple of games".
