With Her First Oscar Win, Lady Gaga Sets An Incredible Awards Record

Last night, Lady Gaga took home her first Oscar, winning for Best Original Song for "Shallow", featured in her hit movie "A Star Is Born".

Though Bradley Cooper has been in a longterm relationship with partner Irina Shayk, Gaga is newly single, and people picked up on some.... vibes.

"He said, 'let's just drop a little bit of joy.' And I said 'okay.' It turns out, joy did a whole lot for me".

"Raise your hand if you thought Lady Gaga and Bradley Cooper were about to make out", one social media user posted.

Along with thanking co-star and director Bradley Cooper, Gaga shared, "If you are at home and you're sitting on your couch, and you are watching this right now, all I have to say is that this is hard work".

Of course, Gaga and Cooper seem to have become great friends since filming A Star Is Born, which Cooper also directed. "I don't mean to disrespect Madonna ... she's a nice lady, and she's had a fantastic, huge career".

Tiffany & Co. said on its verified Instagram page said that the iconic necklace was released from the vault specifically for Lady Gaga and that it was the gorgeous piece's debut at an award show.

During the Oscars ceremony, Shayk sat between Gaga and Cooper, but was also seen giving a standing ovation after their performance.

Charlize Theron urged her mom Gerda to join her while she was interviewed by E!'s "Live From the Red Carpet" host Ryan Seacrest.

'What I would like to say is one of the hardest things in life is to just be courageous enough to be yourself. "I'm just so glad God gave her the talent that she has, and he chose her, because that's quite a vessel to go through", said Cooper. Hopefully their artistic connection can fuel other projects in the future!
