What we learned from the Houston Rockets win over the Warriors

Paul handed out 11 of his season-high 17 assists in the first half to reach 9,000 for his career, helping Houston avoid a third straight road loss.

Here are five observations from the Warriors' 121-110 win over the Hornets at the Spectrum Center on Monday night.

Harden, who was fined $25,000 earlier Saturday for criticizing the referees after a loss to the Los Angeles Lakers, has missed just four games this season.

"It's pretty frustrating. And I'm probably going to get hit [with a fine], but honestly, I don't really say anything".

"He'll be back for the playoffs". It was an off night for Stephen Curry in his return to his hometown, finishing with 16 points on 4-of-14 shooting from 3-point range.

Avenatti, who is representing one of Kelly's victims in this case, lashed out a Greenberg on Saturday. The R&B singer secured his release by paying 10 percent of his $1 million bail amount.

The Warriors never trailed in the final three quarters and led by as many as 17 in the final six minutes before the Hornets went on a 10-0 run to cut the lead to seven, 115-108, with 3:24 to go. The camp is free and available to unsigned high school players with a 3-star ranking or below - like Curry had in high school - giving overlooked athletes the opportunity to refine their skills, gain exposure and achieve a deeper understanding of the game.

Even without National Basketball Association scoring leader James Harden, the Houston Rockets took it to Golden State from the very start. He played 24 minutes, scoring four points while also contributing four rebounds and three assists. "He got the technical, so I guess that's the rule".

After the game, Rockets star Chris Paul made a decision to take a little revenge shot at one of the Warriors' stars. This time around, they'll have the more hard task of actually defending one another. We were rolling. It was the best our team had felt with 65 wins and all that stuff.

Harden, who averages a league-best 36.5 points, missed the game due to a neck injury and a flu but the Rockets apparently had little to worry as Eric Gordon, Chris Paul, Kenneth Faried, and James Tucker all delivered brilliant performances.

Cousins strongly pled his case for throwing the shoe after the game, arguing that he did so as a precautionary measure, especially since he's coming off a torn Achilles sustained last season.
