Nokia 9 PureView With Five Rear Cameras Finally Unveiled at MWC 2019

While the price is set in USA dollars, HMD clarified it's not a confirmation the phone will be sold in the States. Here are the specifications, features and prices of the Nokia 1 Plus and Nokia 210 phones. Rather than glass like with the 4.2, Nokia's 3.2 features a plastic back. On the back of the phone, you'll find a fingerprint sensor and a dual camera array with a 12MP primary sensor and a 2MP secondary sensor for depth. The phone's images further corroborate the fact that it'll have a standard 18:9 aspect ratio display with bezels all around. We'll have to see how well its luminosity adapts with more time and varied scenarios, though. Following closely behind Samsung's new Galaxy lineup, the Nokia 9 Pureview also utilizes in-display fingerprint sensor technology. 5 cameras working independently, simultaneously to create one photoImages captured can contain between 60 and 240 Megapixels of data.

We start with the breath-taking landscapes, the Nokia 9 is well-suited for that even without a telephoto or ultra-wide camera on board.

The phone includes two colour sensors and three monochromatic sensors which Nokia says give more sharpness and detail. That said, it's limited to 2.5G (GPRS) connectivity.

The five cameras offer up to 10 times more light for better images. Having three monochrome and two RGB sensors might seem unnecessary, but the benefits are substantial for dynamic range and depth-of-field.

The huge amount of processing grunt inside the new flagship Nokia coupled with the Light co-processor means the five-camera is still capable of shooting 60-megapixel images in a burst mode. This is what enables the SD845 to control and process information from the five separate cameras, and do so in an instant.

Nokia 9 PureView is not just the first of HMD's Android phones to use the label but it stands, at least for now, as the company's flagship product.

The unparalleled high-fidelity 12MP depth map created with each JPG enables lovely Bokeh and provides the opportunity to explore your inner artist using Google Photo's built in depth editor. The Nokia 9 can capture an insane 1200 focal planes, which allows for a much more granular set of adjustments. Using the preinstalled Google Photos app, you can make the background out of focus to highlight the foreground or vice versa.

Moving on to the most important and most anticipated feature of the phone, its quintuple camera system. It also comes with easy access to helpful innovative services including the Google Assistant, which helps you get things done throughout the day, as well as Google Photos with free unlimited high-quality photo storage.

Shoot and edit RAW DNG photos on the phone. When one presses the shutter button, the Nokia 9 PureView captures photos from all the five camera sensors in varying exposures. In select markets, it is up for pre-orders immediately. Coming to the U.S. - for $699!
