Kerr says Patriots winning Super Bowls 'gets old'

They have made the Kansas City Chiefs the favorites to wrest the Lombardi Trophy away from the New England Patriots.

In a game that was the polar opposite of Super Bowl LII, the Patriots prevailed 13-3 over the Los Angeles Rams in a defensive battle that saw the teams knotted at three points apiece in the fourth quarter. (Steven Senne/AP) Some fans couldn't help but embrace each other after the record-breaking victory.

The overall point total of 16 - 13 Patriots, 3 Rams - was the lowest of any Super Bowl in National Football League history.

But the overall big news might be the ratings: Super Bowl 53 averaged a 44.9 rating in metered market households, early numbers show. Patriots QB Tom Brady became the first player to ever win six Super Bowls in what was the lowest scoring Super Bowl of all time.

Kyrie Irving has genuine interest in reuniting with LeBron James
The rumblings of Davis teaming up with LeBron started when he signed with LeBron's agent, Rich Paul of Klutch Sports Group. As for the above trade, the Knicks would make out quite well as they would already have Irving in the fold.

"We've seen about as much offence in this Super Bowl as the New Zealand Black Caps have shown in their recent test cricket matches lately", one commentator said.

The Rams' Johnny Hekker's 65-yard punt was also longest in Super Bowl history.

"I don't give a crap if you have a Hall of Fame bust, if you've been a Pro Bowler, or win 20 Super Bowls", he said. They previously won by 3, 3, 3, 4 and 6 points.
