Dianne Feinstein’s climate change discussion with schoolchildren gets heated

Sen. Dianne Feinstein disagreed with a group of schoolchildren over climate change Friday and saw a video of the tense exchange hit the Internet, CNN reports. "I've gotten elected, I just ran, I was elected by nearly a million vote plurality".

It was clear from the tone of Feinstein's response that the six-term senator thought the ambitious strategy - in line with what climate science says is necessary to avert 1.5 degrees C of warming - is too heavy of a political lift. "Yes, the Post is conservative and they may not always be fair to her, but it's a fair question, and it's one I believe that she should respond to in-kind and not just ignore press inquiries".

Ocasio-Cortez's "Green New Deal" is her latest attempt to overhaul the entire economy for environmental justice.

In a statement Friday night about the confrontation, Feinstein said she "always welcomes the opportunity to hear from Californians who feel passionately about this issue and it remains a top priority of mine".

The New York congresswoman then switched focus to children who have been born. Markey. The Green New Deal is a comprehensive plan which includes switching the entire county's electricity to power sources that are renewable and have no emissions, making the country's buildings more energy efficient and investing in electric vehicles and high-speed rail.

The abridged version of the video posted to Twitter Friday evening by the Sunrise Movement quickly went viral, amassing almost 6 million views by Saturday morning. But Feinstein, a 27-year veteran of the Senate, argued that the legislation had no chance of passing the Republican-controlled chamber. "Cuz you're not. So, until you do it, I'm the boss.' How about that?'" I don't respond to that.

Dustin Johnson wows crowd, commentators with massive drive leading to eagle
After a short par putt lipped out at 14 he birdied 15 and 16 as he tried to keep Johnson in his sights. 369 yards to 4 FEET. Our final-round matchup bets start there, as this could be just what Rory needed to finally post a solid Sunday.

Fox News personalities, especially those on "Fox & Friends", have been obsessed with bashing Ocasio-Cortez since her election previous year. Only about a dozen Senate Democrats have said they will support it; activists such as the Sunrise Movement have been pressuring other Democrats for weeks.

"This is a fight for our generation's survival".

"Not just financially because people are graduating with 20, 30, $100,000 worth of student loan debt, and so they can't even afford to have kids and a house, but also just this basic moral question, like, 'what do we do?'" she continued.

Soon afterward, people who appear to be Feinstein's aides hustle the children out of her office.

'I was initially furious and ready to jump all over DiFi based on the edited video, and felt duped when I saw the longer one...' She is clearly out of touch with her constituents and I for one will not forget this incident next election! I know what I'm doing.
