Trump Mocks Warren Again Over Her Claims of Native American Ancestry

"Over 7,000 people in MA have been sent home or are working without pay during the #TrumpShutdown", Warren said Tuesday, New Year's Day, on Twitter.

The test indicated that Warren likely had Native American in her bloodline, though the ancestor probably lived six to 10 generations ago.

Curiously, Warren claimed the results proved her Native American ancestry claims.

Warren's positions put her in the extremely liberal camp, but public perception places her more within the risk-averse establishment than in camp with political mavericks like socialist Sen. "I wish her well", Trump said.

"She's not waiting around to see if Bernie's in the race, she's not waiting to see if there are other women", said Joe Trippi, a longtime campaign manager and Democratic political consultant. "The tone she's been talking about Trump is very shrill". That didn't work out too well.

"Why is the path so rocky for so many people and so much rockier for people of color?"

Warren's mantra has been that she wants to make changes to the federal government that now "works great for the wealthy and the well-connected" but leaves millions of other Americans out in the cold.

Hillary Clinton in 2016 launched a similar "listening tour" that took her to early states.

Warren was been a favorite target of Trump, who frequently calls her "Pocahontas" - a reference to Warren's claims of Native American heritage.

Warren, who announced Monday she had formed a presidential exploratory committee, has moved quickly to gain an advantage in the state.

Iowa's caucuses will not be held for another 13 months in February of 2020.
