Kawhi Leonard's Mom Gets into Argument With Spurs Fan in Stands

The Spurs came out guns blazing and pretty much dominated the entire game, ultimately winning 125-107.

Leonard was booed throughout the game, culminating with Spurs fans chanting "traitor" as Leonard shot free-throws in the second quarter. The Leonard battle wasn't just exclusive to the floor action after a Spurs fan caught Kawhi's mom in the stands yelling at one particular Spurs fan to "shut up" during the game.

DeRozan is just the 13th player in Spurs history to produce a triple-double, and it marked the 43rd time that milestone had been reached in San Antonio franchise history. We got some things as a team to look at and get better at. So it doesn't matter what we say. One thing they've considered is playing a tribute for both Leonard and Green together to soften the reaction.

For now, though, "I don't feel like it's going to be an emotional game", DeRozan said.

"I'm not sure", said Leonard, who was asked how he thinks he'll be greeted by Spurs fans ahead of Thursday's game.

DeRozan, meanwhile, told reporters Wednesday he hadn't thought much of Thursday's reunion.

Later in the Q, DeRozan got his isolation game firing as he finished off this handsome sequence with a moonshot floater over former teammate and good friend Serge Ibaka.

This is his first contest against the Raptors since the trade, and he was vehemently upset when Toronto sent him to San Antonio after nine seasons with the club. "So I would imagine that he'll have a really good chance of handling it". "One of my all-time favourite point guards I ever played with, toughest competitor I ever played with, so I wish. he was able to be out there".

Despite leading the Spurs to an National Basketball Association championship in 2014, many fans in the Alamo City are still upset that he wanted out of town. A year after making a concerted effort to move away from isolation-based offence, they are back to throwing the ball to a star and getting out of the way, as they try to take advantage of Leonard's physical dominance.

"Give me some popcorn, I just want to watch it", Spurs forward LaMarcus Aldridge joked with a San Antonio TV station this week.
