Galaxy M20 design, features revealed officially ahead of January 28 launch

Earlier today, Samsung publicly listed its upcoming Galaxy M smartphone on Amazon India, revealing numerous features that we can expect the device to have. However, the recent introduction of the new Redmi Note 7 might turn it into an impossible task. "That's a significant jump in our online part", said Asim Warsi, senior vice-president, Samsung India. Like in the case of most of the upcoming smartphones, the Galaxy M series has also been leaked numerous of times over the internet revealing some of the key specifications and features which the devices will pack.

For months, there have been rumours of Samsung planning to phase out Galaxy J mobile portfolio with the new Galaxy M series and now we a have official confirmation from the company itself. Hence, Samsung Galaxy M20 can become the first Samsung smartphone with 5,000mAh battery. There is also a Galaxy M30 in the works that is said to launch in India at a later date. Hence it appears that the teaser images belong to the Galaxy M20 smartphone. Both the handsets will sport dual rear camera setup and out of the two one will be a wide-angle lens. A selfie camera is present inside the notch while earpiece is fitted between the on the top edge of the phone above the front-facing camera.

The report further claims the new Samsung Galaxy M20 will be powered by the company's own Exynos 7885 processor coupled with 3GB RAM.

This new Galaxy M series are certain to come with big batteries and quick charging capability with prices ranging between Rs 10,000 and Rs 20,000, aimed to regain the lost ground to Xiaomi, which dethroned long reigning Samsung in late 2017 as the smartphone leader in India. The handset could be priced around Rs. 15,000 in India and it will be exclusively available through Amazon in India.

The new M series will include three devices to begin with.
