Anderson, Gurley run Rams past Cowboys, into NFC title game

So the Cowboys, fresh off an NFC wild-card win over Seattle last week, came to ancient Los Angeles Memorial Coliseum on Saturday night to extend their season against the Rams. Elliott tallied 137 yards on 26 carries for the fourth-seeded Cowboys.

Rams quarterback Jared Goff appeared to return to form during season-ending victories over the Arizona Cardinals and the San Francisco 49ers.

"It was incredible what they did today", Goff said of the Rams' running backs.

When the dust settled, the Cowboys were a physically dominated team, dropping the game to Los Angeles, 30-22.

Patrick McCaw plans sign Toronto Raptors after Cleveland Cavaliers release
The 23-year-old was most recently waived by the Cavs earlier this week after signing a non-guaranteed 2-year, $6 million deal. However, it was then reported that the Cleveland Cavaliers , now last place in the East, would offer him said deal.

Dak Prescott was 20 of 32 for 266 yards and one touchdown passing while also rushing for a score as the Cowboys lost their eighth consecutive road playoff game.

Anderson, who was signed late in the season and played in just two regular-season games, scored on a 1-yard TD run to give the Rams a 13-7 lead with seven minutes remaining in the first half.

Elliott gashed defenses this season to an National Football League best 1,434 yards on the ground. Winning a playoff game that many picked them to lose, especially to the one team sports media loves, is again a watershed event for the young coach everyone wishes they could have. Even veteran backup CJ Anderson was able to run at will, and now we have a better understanding of why that was the case.

"We played against a really good front", Elliott said.
