With the game tied and just a minute to go, Hurts broke through the defense and powered into the endzone. The hero in last year's national title game against the Bulldogs, Tagovailoa threw two interceptions Saturday evening.

"I'm so proud of this guy for what he's done this year, I can't even tell you", Saban said as he put his arm around Hurts in a postgame interview.

That means 57 percent of the Atlanta market was watching television during the game, and of those TV sets that were turned on, 33.9 percent were watching Georgia football battle the Tide in a pulse-pounding 35-28 loss. One impressive Saban trend that stands out when looking at this game is that Alabama is 5-1 against the spread when playing on a neutral field as a favorite of 10.5 to 14 points.

Alabama coach Nick Saban summed it up best: "Wow".

Democrats Pick Apart Trump's New Trade Pact
The three were still bickering over the finer points of the deal just hours before officials were due to sit down and sign it. It's unlikely they'll axe USMCA in Congress, but they may see fit to fiddle with the agreement that keeps getting tweaked.

This time, Jalen Hurts was the quarterback who came off the bench to rescue Alabama. It's also worth noting that the Crimson Tide survived a major test against the Georgia Bulldogs in the SEC Championship Game. It was reminiscent of Tagovailoa replacing Hurts at halftime during that national championship game and carrying the team to a victory. But Hurts took control of the offense and lifted Alabama, certain to be the top seed in the College Football Playoff.

The final regular-season edition of the Coaches Poll was released shortly before the final College Football Playoff Rankings, and to the surprise of no one, it closely resembled what the CFP Selection Committee released Sunday afternoon.

Georgia's Jake Fromm threw for 301 yards and three touchdowns, while Tagovailoa was only 10 of 25 for 164 yards.

"With a team like that, you've got to be able to put them way because they keep hanging on", Georgia tight end Isaac Nauta said. There is no one questioning that title or how good this team has been to get where they are.
