Manchester United star has his heart set on a move to PSG

Manchester United manager Jose Mourinho gave a furious dressing down of midfielder Paul Pogba in the locker room following the club's 2-2 draw with Southampton on Saturday, reports The Daily Record's Duncan Castles, calling the France global "a virus".

"I will give you an example, that I hope is a good example".

Rashford's profligacy in front of goal against Young Boys in the Champions League in midweek provoked Mourinho to display his frustration on the sidelines.

'The second goal was a direct free-kick and the first goal was because we don't press enough the ball when our block is low, which is something that we do wrong, ' Mourinho said.

The draw leaves United in seventh, six points off the Champions League spots and 16 points off their rivals, Manchester City, who now sit top of the Premier League table.

"Can we go to Tottenham and buy their best players?"

Sarri called Chelsea players for one-to-one meetings after Spurs loss
We lost the match after three months and a half, we have to understand why and from the mental approach. If you don't have determination, you have no motivation. "I don't want Kante in this position".

United wasted a glorious early opening and were punished for their profligacy when Stuart Armstrong scored his third goal in a week to put Southampton ahead in the 13th minute, capitalising on suspect defending from the visitors. Some player with that kind of injury they don't play for two weeks, but Marcus I'm pretty sure he will be fine for the next one.

"We lost so many balls in midfield", Mourinho told BT Sport.

Mourinho's decision to start with two holding midfielders in defence, Nemanja Matic and Scott McTominay, was lambasted by fans and the lethargic nature of the second-half display also tipped people over the edge.

"What we needed to improve in this game is simplicity in midfield".

Mourinho has been linked with a move for a defender after missing out in the summer, but warned supporters it may not happen - in part because he believes United are not able to dominate the transfer market as they did in the past.
