Seahawks grades versus Chargers in unsettling loss

The Seahawks finished with 154 yards rushing, but starter Chris Carson didn't play the final 2 ½ quarters due to a lingering hip injury.

The Chargers' Caleb Sturgis missed two extra points and a field goal in the team's 25-17 win over the Seahawks on Sunday.

Seattle still had a chance to force overtime against the Chargers until Russell Wilson's pass for David Moore at the back of the end zone was tipped slightly and fell incomplete on the final play. Wilson scrambled for 16 yards to the Chargers 28 and, after a spike, Seattle had 30 seconds left. Expect a low scoring first half, around twenty total points and then Seattle will impose their will on the ground and take over with a late charge from the Rivers to keep things close at the end of the game.

But don't worry, Melvin Gordon is completely healthy and running WILD! Rivers completed just 50% of his passes for 228 yards, but he didn't turn the ball over and threw a pair of touchdowns along the way.

One of the biggest missed opportunities happened at the start of the second quarter on Seattle's second drive. Defensively, the Seahawks allowed the Chargers to average 10 yards per play in the first half, and rush for 7.3 yards per carry for the game. "I thought it was dominating, outside the points we missed, but pretty great". Carson had just eight carries, leaving Mike Davis as the primary back.

Robert Mueller May Be Falsely Accused of Sexual Assault by Paid Women
In a rare statement, Mueller's top spokesman Peter Carr said Mueller's team learned of the alleged payoff scheme last week. Taub said the email struck her as weird and suspicious, and she immediately forwarded it to the special counsel's office.

I wish I was able to grade the officials for the game.

Despite all that, Wilson almost pulled off another fourth-quarter rally. They also had a moment of silence for Allen and had the "12 Flag" that's raised before every game lowered to half-staff.

Overall Seattle got the better of the Chargers in the special teams department all day.

The Chargers will be staying on the road next week, facing off against Oakland.
