Ruth Bader Ginsburg released from hospital after breaking ribs

"I've known her for many, many years ... got to see her just a few weeks ago here at the swearing-in of Justice Kavanaugh", White House counselor Kellyanne Conway told reporters about Ginsburg's hospitalization. She went to George Washington University Hospital early Thursday morning after experiencing discomfort overnight. "You think three ribs are going to stop Justice?"

The next sitting of the Supreme Court isn't until November 26th, so once again, she's not likely to miss a day of work. But it seems that Ginsburg won't be needing them.

First baseman Matt Olson and third baseman Matt Chapman were recognized for the Athletics, and second baseman D.J. Astros players Alex Bregman and Martin Maldonado were also finalists for Gold Glove Awards.

Ginsburg is the court's oldest member and is considered most senior of its liberal minority. Citing Justice John Paul Stevens, who continued until the age of 90, she's said that she wants to continue for at least another five. She is the oldest of the now serving 9 justices. Several late-night comedians devoted parts of their segments to the incident: Stephen Colbert joked that Ginsburg should forgo her black robe for bubble wrap and that she should stop "walking around an office" and instead be "carried down the hallway like a Fabergé egg".

Ruth Bader Ginsburg is an inspiring leader, with hundreds of achievements under her belt that have lead to the production of a beloved documentary and a biographical movie in the making. The court won't hear arguments again until November 26. Court spokesperson Kathy Arberg said Ginsburg "is doing well and plans to work from home" on Friday. The statement added that updates will be provided when possible.
