Passenger's fight with driver leads to bus crash killing 15 in China

The driver of the No 22 bus, a 42-year-old man, quarrelled with a female passenger after she blamed him for missing her stop, according to Chongqing police's news feed on Sina Weibo, China's popular social media platform.

A security footage from a bus that plunged into a river in China on Sunday revealed a fist fight between the driver and a passenger ultimately led to the vehicle's doom.

Police examined nearly 2,300 hours of surveillance videos along the bus route to determine the cause of the accident which gripped the nation. He grabbed her arm when she attacked him again, then hastily steered to the left, sending the bus out of control.

Police said the passenger was angry the driver had missed her stop.
