Norman Reedus and Melissa McBride Sign New Walking Dead Deals

Meaning that, yep you guessed it, Rick Grimes is not dead. In the case of the series' longest-tenured stars, this means behind-the-scenes contract renewals and salary negotiations.

Gimple's plans for expanding the Walking Dead universe don't seem to be limited just to full-length films, either.

If you haven't seen tonight's episode of The Walking Dead, What Comes After, there will be MASSIVE SPOILERS below, so read on at your own risk.

Gimple elaborated by saying that these new TV movies are created to expand the scope of the franchise. Obviously, the agreements come with substantial pay increases.

The Chilean coach had told Anderson there was no chance he would be dropped, despite a slow start to life in the Premier League . Manager Sean Dyche is convinced their dip compared to last season's seventh-place finish comes down to the small margins.

Meanwhile, Rick is able to lead the herd to the yet-to-be-completed bridge, hoping the weight of the herd would make it collapse, but it doesn't work. McBride's three-year total is estimated to be around $20 million.

It's not the only project now in development for The Walking Dead Universe, with Gimple set to roll out a multi-year plan involving films, specials, series, and other vaguely described "digital content".

We then flashed forward a few years to see a Rick's now preteen daughter Judith Grimes saving a totally different day. A lot of it was down to the good people at AMC, who just said no and they thought it would be an interesting and exciting proposition to expand rather than contract the show. "For many years, fans have talked about things in the apocalypse they want to see and now we have an opportunity to explore those stories, beginning with the character who started it all, Rick Grimes". "This is not going to be the end of Rick Grimes' story", chief content officer Scott Gimple said on the live after-show immediately trailing Lincoln's last episode of the flagship series. "It's not the beginning of the end, it's the end of the beginning", Lincoln said. The actor, who *spoiler* got the boot from the show in the latest series nine, is believed to reprise his role as Rick Grimes for all three movies.

Rick's return: "The story of Rick will go on in films, ' Gimple says". It's a stark reminder that, throughout every season and all their respective ups and downs, there's always been Rick Grimes, and his egression will change the very essence of the show forever.
