Girl's Letter to Steph Curry Changed How Under Armour Sells His Shoes

Girl's Letter to Steph Curry Changed How Under Armour Sells His Shoes

A night billed as a potential National Basketball Association finals preview certainly lived up to its billing Thursday.

The first of two meetings between the National Basketball Association heavyweights didn't disappoint in the slightest, with the Warriors and Raptors exchanging blows and showcasing their deep rosters and top-flight individual talent for 48 minutes plus overtime as the Raptors took a thriller 131-128.

Thompson scored nine points in the second and Durant added eight as Golden State cut the deficit to single digits.

While Golden State shot just under 58 percent from deep in the first quarter, Toronto separated itself with its 3-point shooting - the Warriors failed to connect on a 3-pointer in the first quarter. The matchup prompted Thompson to suggest the night was a potential preview of June's National Basketball Association finals.

The Raps led by 13 after the first quarter, and as much as 18 during the night. The Raptors raced out to an early 18-point lead, and for the most part maintained a double-digit advantage until Durant lit it up late in the third quarter. The Warriors were the National Basketball Association champs in three of the past four seasons. Curry is not coming back at Toronto, as Marcus predicted.

Big Ten championship has huge implications for Ohio State
With that being said, the only way either team would pull off an upset would be through a shootout. "And certain parts are not". This season for Ohio State has been anything but normal, beginning with its celebrated coach suspended for three games.

Moving forward, the Raptors can and will improve upon the ways in which they play with a lead provided they learn from common themes in the games in which leads were cut into.

The night had a post-season buzz, and the fans stood for the extra period, erupting when Green knocked down a three with 2:07 to play to put Toronto up by three. Pascal Siakam breezed past Andre Iguodala for a thundering dunk.

Nick Nurse certainly was dressed for the occasion. "I hope you can work with Under Armour to change this because girls want to rock the Curry 5's too".

Curry, meanwhile, sat out with strained adductor (groin).

A pair of former Finals MVP's, future Hall of Famers and current superstars delivered an epic on-court battle as two of the league's best squads hooked up for a potential NBA Finals preview. The Warriors were also missing Draymond Green (toe injury). After being dominated in a 117-85 loss to the Denver Nuggets on Tuesday, LeBron James will be looking to right the ship and the team may have to do it without Lonzo Ball. "The media coverage we're used to, the fans outside the hotel", Kerr said. Durant seemingly had an answer for each run made by the Raptors and kept the Warriors within striking distance despite being shorthanded. Only four of their next 14 games come against teams with losing records, including two against Cleveland.
