Anthony Davis Trade Rumors: NBA Wants Lakers-Celtics Rivalry?

While the Celtics built a 20-point lead and showed signs of regaining their status as an Eastern Conference contender, the Pelicans made numerous mistakes that led to last week's 0-3 road trip.

Irving is averaging 22 points and 6.4 assists per game on the young season, and has really turned up recently, leading Boston in scoring in five out of the team's last seven games. "That's the team we know", Boston guard Marcus Smart said. "There's a reason why he's very instrumental for our team to be successful, because he's a veteran now; not in terms of years, but he's played high level basketball for the Celtics for a few years now". Clearly, there are a lot of teams around the league who would love to have a player of his caliber.

There's plenty of time for the team to figure things out, but it will be interesting to see if any moves are made if this mediocrity continues.

"I think we all just started focusing on what we did two or three years ago, not anxious about who's getting the shots, just trying to lock in on the defensive end and move the ball".

It will mark Ricciardo's 100th start for Red Bull after moving to the team from Toro Rosso in 2014. He met ex-Formula One boss Bernie Ecclestone as well as a number of race fans and businessmen.

"You can't listen to what somebody else is saying, all the white noise, 'AD's going here, AD's going here, ' - AD's playing for the Pelicans this year. the rest will take care of itself", he said. I don't have a good game and we lose. And Sheridan goes on to suggest a team such as the Sacramento Kings may need to be included in any deal for Davis from the Celtics, but he adds that no deal involving Irving is "currently being discussed".

New Orleans trailed almost the entire game, falling behind early because of eight first-quarter turnovers that led to 11 Celtics points.

Soon after, Randle's free throws and Darius Miller's 3 ignited an 11-2 Pelicans run to close the period, trimming Boston's lead to 10 heading to the fourth. "Put Anthony (Davis) at the point guard". Up next, they'll battle the Cavaliers on Friday night. Carter Jr. posts averages of 7.1 rebounds and 1.7 blocks to go along with 11 points per game, and his two-way potential is why some pegged him to become the best big man out of the 2018 draft class loaded with the likes of DeAndre Ayton, Bagley, Jaren Jackson Jr. and Mohamed Bamba. The Pelicans had 13 fast-break points.

With NBA teams upping the ante every season by taking more and more shots from beyond the three-point arc, it's critical to be able to defend that area of the floor, but New Orleans has often struggled in '18-19.
