Sarri: Chelsea fans must respect Mourinho

Mourinho leapt from his seat on United's bench to confront Marco Ianni after Sarri's assistant coach celebrated Ross Barkley's dramatic late equaliser for Chelsea by pumping his fists in front of the away dugout at Stamford Bridge.

The United manager received an apology from both Ianni and opposite number Sarri and said he considers the matter closed, but the FA has now opened disciplinary proceedings.

"After that his assistant came to me in Sarri's office and apologised to me".

It all took place after Barkley made it 2-2 in the 96th minute to earn the draw.

"I think [it was] a fantastic game with a fantastic result for Chelsea and an very bad result for us", he said.

"We played our football but after the first (United) goal we haven't played our football - only long balls". "I have spoken to a member of my staff and have dealt with this immediately".

Manchester United coach Jose Mourinho has produced a classy response to the ugly scuffle that overshadowed their clash with Chelsea over the weekend.

Kohli, Sharma star in India's big win
Rohit and Kohli were involved in a 246-run stand which is the highest for any wicket for India against West Indies . Dhawan (4) was clean bowled by Oshane Thomas in the second over of the innings.

"I told the players at half time I was thinking about winning this game in the second half".

Sarri said his side lost out to United in the physical battle as the game wore on.

But Martial, who has played in six of United's nine Premier League games in 2018-19, has dismissed talk that he does not get on with his manager.

"I have a certain level of education socially and in sport and what I did today, I would do in Porto, Madrid, Milan".

The governing body also said it had "formally reminded Mourinho of his responsibilities", although the Portuguese escaped a charge for his part in the row. "It was the end of the story with me in the minute he apologised". I told him to forget it.

"When we scored the second goal there was a little bit of a discussion outside the pitch".

"What happened was with [Maurizio] Sarri's assistant and Sarri was first to come to me and say he would resolve the problem internally with him".
