Real Madrid set to sack Julen Lopetegui after just 12 games

It is understood that Madrid will look to promote Solari in the wake of Lopetegui's departure (much like Zinedine Zidane was bumped up after Rafa Benitez was axed) until June and consider offering him the managerial position full time based on results.

Real Madrid manager Julen Lopetegui has proven to be an absolute waste since arriving in the Spanish capital and will certainly get the sack- but the question is when is it going to come?

Los Blancos are now on a five-game winless run in all competitions, losing four times in the process.

Lopetegui's team had entered the game amid its worst scoreless streak since 1985.

"We have to sit down and think hard about what we are doing wrong and change our path. But we have done a lot of good things, we have to keep trying".

Climate change may result in adverse shortage and double price of beer
The United Kingdom may decrease its beer consumption by between 0.37 billion and 1.33 billion liters while the price may double. The study noted that a decrease in beer consumption may be highly notable in markets that consumed the most beer by volume.

The visitors led 2-0 inside 13 minutes, Jose Luis Morales opening the scoring before Roger Marti converted a penalty, while they had a third disallowed before the break for offside.

- Gareth Bale has failed to score in his last five La Liga appearances; he had scored at least one goal in his previous seven games in the competition (eight goals in total). "We had 34 or 35 shots at goal, 14 on target, nine corners, four balls off the woodwork, a goal disallowed", he said. Marco Asensio also had a first-half goal disallowed by VAR.

The club, then, will not go down as the most incompetent finishers in Madrid history - but it is scant consolation as they once more tasted defeated in a 2-1 reverse.

El Clasico away at Barcelona next week will surely decide Lopetegui's fate, if he even makes it that far after the fallout from this loss and a key UEFA Champions League match against Viktoria Plzen.
