Marvel's Other Netflix Shows Could Be in Trouble According to New Data

This Luke Cage cancelation comes after a similar decision for Iron Fist.

The cancellation surprised numerous show's fans, some who were expecting another season.

The news was announced on Friday and came a few weeks after Netflix axed another live-action Marvel series, Iron Fist.

These reasons make it look like the viewership wasn't the issue with Luke Cage, however, we can't be sure that it didn't affect the series completely, given that Netflix never released those statistics.

People Are Missing From Florida Town Hit By Hurricane Michael
The president said someone described Hurricane Michael to him as being "like a very wide, extremely wide, tornado". Hurricane Michael's death toll climbed to 18 Saturday, after another victim was discovered in Virginia.

"Luke Cage represented something more than just entertainment", Colter told his social media fans.

"Luke Cage is the finest Marvel show in existence". I am forever grateful to Marvel and Netflix for letting me portray such a prolific character. Showrunner Cheo Hodari Coker and his team had created much of the plot outline for Season 3 already, according to Deadline, when the delivery of more detailed drafts to Marvel and Netflix caused problems. Everyone at Marvel Television and Netflix is grateful to the dedicated showrunner, writers, cast and crew who brought Harlem's Hero to life for the past two seasons, and to all the fans who have supported the series.

"So wait... First they cancel Iron Fist after a massive improvement". It's an interesting move for Netflix to cancel the only minority character in their Marvel lineup. "Just a tragedy losing this great show". If you're like me you're anxiously waiting for the executioner to drop the guillotine down onto another Marvel show. Unnamed sources have relayed that "creative differences" over the developed scripts and the "inability" for Marvel and Netflix to resolve their apparently intense disagreements and arrive at a solution that would benefit both parties moving forward created the flawless storm for the Luke Cage cancellation.

Be that as it may, one person who is particularly disheartened by Luke Cage's shock cancellation is Danny Rand himself, Finn Jones, who shared a poignant photo of Marvel's Heroes for Hire over on Instagram in the wake of Netflix's announcement.
