Giants part ways with 2015 first-round pick Ereck Flowers

The Giants moved him to right tackle this offseason, and he started the first two games this year before they discontinued the experiment.

The Ereck Flowers era has mercifully come to an end for the New York Giants.

Still just 24 years old, there's still time for Flowers to turn things around, but it'll have to be for another team.

Shurmur confirmed that by saying Flowers "was not out there today" for the team's walkthrough on a short week for Thursday night's game against the visiting Philadelphia Eagles (2-3).
