New iPhones and More: Here's Everything Apple Just Announced

Whether you're the type of person who buys the new iPhone every year or your current phone is getting creaky with age and it's time to upgrade, you're probably wondering when these new devices will come out.

It follows previous rumours that the company will introduce a larger screened 6.5in iPhone - allegedly the XS Max - alongside the new 5.8in display iPhone XS, which is the same size screen as last year's iPhone X.

Apple revealed its three new iPhones on September in an event at the Steve Jobs Theater in its Apple Park HQ.

It claims the iPhone XS runs for half an hour longer than last year's X, while the XS Max lasts an additional 1.5 hours.

The biggest news for most smartphone users was the announcement of the new phone's dual-Sim capability, meaning users will have access to two phone numbers on the same iPhone at the same time.

The iPhone XS and larger XS Max are Apple's latest flagship devices.

The company has been affected by leaks in the past.

As predicted, Apple's big September 12 event showcased the tech giant's release of its new iPhone Xs and Xr models. Another notable addition: Both the XS and XS Max support a dual-SIM card system, enabling multiple phone numbers and easier worldwide travel.

The cameras are being powered by lots of smart algorithms working under the hood, which also enable a new smart HDR feature as well as the ability to adjust the depth-of-field of a photo after the fact.

The biggest aesthetic shakeup is that the iPhone XR will arrive in no less than six new technicolour finishes, including blue, yellow and red. For more info, head over to Apple.

We'll start with the XS. Apple also announced that watchOS 5 will start rolling out to supported devices on September 17. The iPhone XR comes with a 12 MP, single rear camera.

The pair have a similar design and features to the existing iPhone X - including its much-hyped Face ID unlock system - with a few key additions. And Apple says that the ECG feature works so well that it has been endorsed by doctors and is approved by FDA in the US.

Analysts expect the devices to come in new colors: Gold, anyone?

According to the company, Apple Watch Series 4 can detect falls and it will call emergency contacts if it doesn't detect movement after a minute.

The iPhone Xs Max is virtually identical with the iPhone Xs, safe for the screen size: The super-sized premium iPhone features a OLED screen with a vertical screen size of 6.5 inches with a resolution of 2688 by 1242 pixels, and a pixel density of 458 ppi. The bokeh effect on the iPhone XS Max - in fact all the new iPhones - is really good.

If you want to connect your wired headphones to your shiny new iPhone, you'll now need to pay £9 for a headphone adapter.
