Back-to-back wins over Cardiff and West Ham were followed by a 2-2 comeback draw with Everton last weekend so the Cherries will be desperate to maintain their unbeaten record against Chelsea tomorrow.

Sarri stressed that his side can still improve despite the confidence they have shown as it is only the beginning of the campaign, but feels closing the gap with Manchester City in just one season will be tough.

"I am happy with the result and I am happy with the performance".

'I think that he will be important for sure. This is a match Bourenmouth will be happy to take a point from.

While Conte was a fairly pragmatic manager, Chelsea have taken a totally different direction this season, employing Maurizio Sarri and his attack-minded "Sarri-ball" tactics to take charge at Stamford Bridge this season.

"The gap at the beginning was 30 points, so I think it is very hard to cover this gap in one season. He has great qualities from the physical and technical point of view, but he has to improve in the tactical point of view".

Sarri's side appeared to be in danger of dropping their first points of the season against opponents who were also unbeaten coming into this game.

"The first half, the situation was hard".

"This kind of match usually you can win in the last 20-25 minutes", he added.

Later in the first half, he allowed Wilson to control and lay the ball off before drifting away from the striker as he moved unmarked into the penalty area. Now we are trying to let him to play like a winger.

"I asked him why Empoli, and he told me he was studying all the little clubs in Italy and France in that period, and he was most impressed with Empoli". But I always think we can do more.

"It depends upon the situation on the pitch", Sarri said of his decision. Starting from September we will play every three days.

"We changed the position and, in the new position, he needs to improve".
