Browns avoid loss, tie Steelers 21-21 in sloppy game

Aaron Rodgers threw three fourth quarter touchdowns to lead the Packers from a 20-3 deficit.

However, the weirdest, wackiest game of the day came in the rainy-Cleveland conditions, where the Steelers tied the Browns 21-21.

On the list of options for the Steelers when it comes to holdout tailback Le'Veon Bell, one potential course of action would be to deal Bell to a new team, who would have him for one year - along with the exclusive ability to try to sign him to a new deal during the two-and-a-half months between the end of the regular season and the launch of free agency. In a 38-28 season-opening win over the Los Angeles Chargers, Mahomes threw four touchdown passes and averaged 17 yards per completion. "I feel like anybody out there on the field should expect the ball to come to them every play because you want to make plays".

Mahomes had six completions of at least 20 yards, including a 36-yard touchdown pass to fullback Anthony Sherman on a toss down the sideline and a 58-yarder to Tyreek Hill. Anyone who watched that series, or have watched the Browns at all since 1999, knows that the team is not in a good place. But the Steelers, who sacked Taylor seven times, refused to offer any excuses after falling dangerously close to becoming the first team to lose to the Browns in Week 1 since 2004.

Steelers quarterback Ben Roethlisberger hardly looked like a future Hall of Famer, throwing three interceptions in the first half and losing two fumbles.

"Tyrod got hit way too much", left guard Joel Bitonio said. Rookie Denzel Ward had two interceptions in his National Football League debut.

This year's spectacle - tickets start at just over $100 and go up to more than $800 per seat - also has a strong economic theme. The recently returned remains, mostly bones and other fragments, were flown to Hawaii for analysis and identification.

The Pittsburgh Steelers will host the Kansas City Chiefs next Sunday and the Cleveland Browns will go on the road to face the New Orleans Saints (0-1).

Josh Gordon made just one catch - one mesmerizing, jaw-dropping, game-tying catch. But the Browns punt from their own 26 after Bud Dupree batted a pass intended for Jarvis Landry.

The second-year back out of Pittsburgh is having a phenomenal game.

The Browns went three-and-out on their first three drives in overtime.

The Browns revamped offensive line, with rookie Desmond Harrison at left tackle, surrendered - sacks.

Browns quarterback Tyrod Taylor completed 15 of 39 attempts for 197 yards, with one touchdown and one interception for a 53.1 rating.
