Bob Woodward Stands By Reporting In Trump Book, Saying 'These Things Happened'

In the bombshell New York Times piece, an anonymous senior Trump official claims to be part of a "resistance" working against President Trump from within the White House.

"The people are not anonymous to me", he says.

"The White House, added Trump in another tweet, is a "'smooth running machine.' We are making some of the biggest and most important deals in our country's - with many more to come!

He said people in Trump's administration are anxious that the president will sign things or give orders that threaten USA or world security and finances.

At a National Security Council meeting on January 19, the president "disregarded the significance of the massive US military presence on the Korean Peninsula, including a special intelligence operation that allowed the United States to detect a North Korean missile launch in seven seconds vs. 15 minutes from Alaska", The Post reported.

President Donald Trump promised to write a book on his administration that sets the record straight, as he continued lashing out at the planned release of Bob Woodward's new book on Tuesday.

It has also created zones of control in northern Syria and has several hundred troops deployed at 12 observation posts in Idlib. Iranian television reported that the three leaders would each have "bilateral meetings" on the sidelines of the main summit.

According to Woodward's book, Secretary of Defense James Mattis responded to the latter questions saying "We're doing this in order to prevent World War Three".

He went on to relate an episode in "Fear" in which former White House Economic Adviser Gary Cohn removed documents from Trump's desk that would end a trade agreement with South Korea so the president couldn't sign them.

From former White House lawyer John Dowd, we learned - or rather had confirmed - that Trump is incapable of getting through a single blustery sentence without uttering some spectacular falsehood, making him a prime candidate for perjury in any potential sit-down with Special Counsel Robert Mueller.

Woodward says Trump drafted a tweet which said the USA would remove families of troops stationed in South Korea.

'Many have already come forward to say the quotes by them, like the book, are fiction, ' he claimed. He told an associate later "that he removed the letter to protect national security and that Trump did not notice it was missing", The Post said. Dems can't stand losing. "It gives a date, it gives a time, who participates, most often the president himself and what he says". In one of his September 5 tweets, Trump posted, "Does the so-called "Senior Administration Official' really exist, or is it just the Failing New York Times with another phony source?"

Asked what he had concluded, Woodward told CBS: "That people better wake up to what's going on". "I don't know if that's in the same class of undercutting the president's agenda but it's certainly trying to reign in" the president, Flake said. Trump himself followed up those denials by issuing a barrage of tweets condemning Woodward and the book as "discredited". "Family members of the 28,000 people there, '" he said.
