NVIDIA also highlights that these cards are powered by their latest Turing architecture, and will have a ray-tracing feature, for real-time light reflections and cinematic effects in your games.

You might also notice that the card is fully enveloped by a attractive shroud, and even the NVLINK connector is protected by a matching removable cover, giving GeForce RTX GPUs a clean appearance. As we've seen in the plethora of leaks over the past few days, NVIDIA's partners are primarily adopting a triple-fan setup for their custom GeForce RTX 2080 and GeForce RTX 2080 Ti graphics cards. "Thanks to the AI and hardware light-ray acceleration built into GeForce RTX GPUs, games using these futuristic features are right around the corner". Keep in mind that the new RTX GPUs start at $799, and go up to $1,199 for the RTX 2080 Ti, so the pricing of the Alienware machines will vary depending on which GPU you choose.

The new RTX 2080 Ti, RTX 2080 and RTX 2070 come with in-built real-time ray-tracing technology support.

Playing the new Rotterdam map in Battlefield 5, however, was more convincing of how good real-time ray tracing can make a game look.

Korean Leaders to Hold Summit Next Month in Pyongyang
What should be noted is that North Korean leader Kim hopes to meet Moon while maintaining such a position. They met again in May in advance of Kim's summit with US President Donald Trump in Singapore.

New technology always comes at a premium, and it will be interesting to see how Nvidia scales this down to smaller cards and laptops in a year or so. I was excited before - now I'm excited and really want an RTX card.

Nvidia CEO and founder Jensen Huang has kickstarted Gamescom 2018 with a pre-show event wherein he confirmed the existence of the long-rumoured GeForce RTX 2000 series, based on the same new Turing architecture as found in the recently announced Quadro RTX workstation cards, and coming with built-in real-time ray tracing support. The family is fleshed out with the GeForce RTX 2080 (2944 CUDA cores) and the GeForce RTX 2070 (2304 CUDA cores).

A massive Newegg product listing revealed pre-order options for both new cards from the usual graphics cards suspects: Asus, EVGA, Gigabyte, MSI, PNY, and Zotac. Metro Exodus will only be available next year, with its current release date set for 22 February 2019. If true, this will be the biggest PC gaming graphics news since 2016. Ray-Tracing will only be supported on these cards, so if you're looking for the absolute best that's more than just a resolution change, these cards are it. Nvidia's new graphics could also represent an inflection point for gaming, with cutting-edge graphics that could translate to a significant revenue boost for the chipmaker in the short- to medium-term.
