Trump calls the European Union a foe of the United States

"I go in with low expectations", Trump said in an interview with CBS News, part of which is set to air Sunday morning.

Jon Huntsman, the USA ambassador to Russian Federation, said in an interview with "Fox News Sunday" that it was critical that the parties not expect too much from the meeting. He planned no public appearances until Monday, when he heads to the Presidential Palace for breakfast with Finnish President Sauli Niinisto.

When Trump meets Putin, he will sit down with a disciplined, detail-oriented and experienced Russian leader who has been on the world stage for more than 18 years, in contrast to 18 months in office for Trump.

Trump arrived in Helsinki on Sunday evening after spending the day playing golf at his private club in Scotland.

Trump also writes: "Much of our news media is indeed the enemy of the people". Trump told CBS News that he hadn't thought about requesting their extradition in the meeting, but suggested that he will ask about it.

Trump also says he "hadn't thought" about asking Putin to extradite the dozen Russian military intelligence officers indicted this past week in Washington on charges related to the hacking of Democratic targets in the 2016 USA presidential election, but says "certainly I'll be asking about it". "The stories you heard about the 12 Russians yesterday took place during the Obama Administration, not the Trump Administration".

Bolton continued: "It shows that the justice system, the Department of Justice, are aware of these Russian efforts in election meddling, and I think the president can put this on the table and say, 'This is a serious matter that we need to talk about'". "I think that getting along with Russian Federation is a good thing", Trump told the program. So having meetings with Russia, China, North Korea, I believe in it.

The meeting comes just days after 12 Russian intelligence officers were charged by a U.S. federal grand jury for hacking the Democrats ahead of the 2016 election. He said he's going to do that.

Brazil's Neymar has spent 14 minutes on the floor
Wimbledon chief executive Richard Lewis said: "It has not been a discussion other than, "we are two o'clock and that's it". The final quarterfinal encounter will see the host nation Russian Federation take on an impressive Croatia side.

Helsinki proudly served as a meeting point for past leaders of the US and the USSR - and later Russian Federation, and on Monday will again be in the spotlight for the bilateral summit. She said it's a very - and she's right - it's a very complex problem, I think nobody had any idea how complex that was going to be.

Asked whether he would press his Russian counterpart to send to the United States members of the Russian military intelligence agency accused of hacking Hillary Clinton's failed presidential campaign, he said: "Well, I might".

The summit is expected to address a range of issues, including Syria, nuclear weapons and election meddling.

In a meeting last week with other North Atlantic Treaty Organisation leaders, the president also took aim at Germany for supporting a pipeline deal with Russian Federation. They're a foe. But that doesn't mean they're bad.

Noting that Putin's government jails journalists critical of the Russian state, Karl asked Bolton if Trump's temperament toward the press is similar to Putin's.

None of the charges allege Trump advisers colluded with Russian Federation to interfere with the presidential campaign.

Intentionally or not, Trump's remarks amount to an admission Putin will come to Helsinki with a hard line on issues ranging from Ukraine to Syria to his government's campaign to upend the last US presidential election.

Huntsman was interviewed on NBC's "Meet the Press", Paul appeared on CNN's "State of the Union", and Bolton and Murphy spoke on ABC's "This Week".
