LeBron James will now have the most career earnings in National Basketball Association history

His management agency, Klutch Sports Group, announced his agreement with the Lakers with a simple, short release.

LeBron James has finally settled on his new destination, signing a four-year, U.S. $154 million (AUD $208 million) deal with the Los Angeles Lakers. According to a report by the network's top National Basketball Association correspondent, James has dispatched his agent to meet with the Philadelphia 76ers on Sunday, July 1.

And while such big names as Chris Paul of Houston and Paul George of Oklahoma City have agreed to terms to stay with their teams, nothing can be signed until Friday - leaving lots of time for players to consider what sort of situation the Lakers with James could offer. "Expect the official announcement Tuesday morning".

After almost a year's worth of speculation, the 4-time MVP is once again leaving Cleveland, this time to sign a free agent contract with the Los Angeles Lakers.

Information from The Associated Press was used in this report. "His reason for being there is unknown; the Lakers are considered a strong candidate to sign James, but he also has an offseason home in L.A".

With demand for oil strong, Morgan Stanley said the group's "production is likely to creep higher". Trump's complaints about OPEC come amid expectations of a more costly USA summer driving season.

The NBA's most glamorous team has landed LeBron James, his agency confirmed on Twitter Sunday (Monday, Manila time).

They're likely going to re-sign Rodney Hood, who averaged 16.8 points per game in a featured role with the Utah Jazz last season, with James gone.

McGee and the Lakers reached agreement on a one-year deal worth the minimum, league sources told ESPN.

James had been linked to several franchises, with the Philadelphia 76ers and Houston Rockets reportedly in the running. The "Sixers owners plan to pitch James the promise that the team will also acquire San Antonin Spurs disgruntled star Kawahi Leonard, according to Stein - a series of moves that would give Philly a Golden State Warriors-like super-team".
