The Duchess wore a beige shift dress paired with black stilettos and a black belt, while the Queen opted for a much brighter green ensemble, believed to be a tribute to the victims of the tragic Grenfell Tower fire on the one year anniversary. She accessorised it with a white and gold clutch from Herrera, Plaisirs de Birks opal-and-gold earrings and rose gold stackable diamond rings from Birks. While it's not exactly groundbreaking (if she had made a decision to wear red, though, that would be another story), it is a notable choice on the newly minted duchess's part.

Still, Markle had love on the brain and proclaimed about Prince Harry: "He's the best husband ever", reports PEOPLE. "First of all, she's great at yoga, so I said, 'Bring your yoga mat and your sneaks in case we just want to do yoga on the lawn.' So one of the bags was a yoga mat and the other was lunch". It appears that they are trying to get Markle adjusted to her new life as a royal.

This fall, Meghan and Harry will head out on their first royal tour together, visiting Australia, Fiji, the Kingdom of Tonga and New Zealand in October. The first stop was the Mersey Gateway Bridge, where the Duchess and the Queen met architects, planners and community representatives, and enjoyed a performance by local school children before the monarch formally opened the bridge.
