The countdown to the BlackBerry KEY2 has begun!

Also, while I have your attention, Russell Holly wrote up a fantastic article on Android Central covering why he is excited about the BlackBerry KEY2, be sure to give that a look! It comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack, a fingerprint sensor integrated into the keyboard, and 4K video recording at 30fps. The QWERTY keyboard of the BlackBerry KEY2 is likely to support gestures.

TCL will unveil its new BlackBerry KEY2 flagship smartphone in NY today in another attempt to return the past glories to the legendary Canadian brand, BlackBerry, the flagship of the mobile industry a decade ago, especially in the business market. It does not look like there are other major changes externally, though TCL appears to have changed the keyboard's bottom-right shift button into something that looks like a shortcut key - it seems to resemble an app launcher.

I'm not a little bit embarrassed to say I'm really excited about the upcoming BlackBerry Key2.

Just yesterday we saw some official renders of the next Blackberry flagship, the KEY2, leaked by EvLeaks.

Boston's all I know. "We can't think about 'what could have been.' But when Kyrie is on our team, we're at another level". Nobody is irreplaceable, but Marcus is certainly a player that has been big for us over the last few years".

The Key2's launch is penned for June 7, and will take place in New York City. The source also posted few renders through his widely popular Twitter account to show what's new in BlackBerry's latest offering. It has two storage options, 64GB and 128GB, expandable up to 256GB through an SD card. We've now come to now that BlackBerry's NY event on June 7 will not be the only event that BlackBerry will host in order to promote the release of its upcoming smartphone. The BlackBerry KEY2 is seen sporting a dual-rear camera setup with an LED flash.

The combination of a Snapdragon 660 SoC processor with a large 3,500 mAh battery may result in longer operating time on a full charge.

The details regarding prices and availability of the BlackBerry KEY2 will probably be announced at the official launch, scheduled for tomorrow.
