Strobe Light Warnings to be Added to 'Incredibles 2' Viewings in Theaters

"Incredibles 2" arrives 14 years after its predecessor arrived in 2004 with $70.5 million.

Incredibles 2 was helped by a lack of competition from other new movies this weekend.

The animated movie Incredibles 2 opened last weekend at No. 1, grossing more than $180 million United States worldwide. But even by the impressive standards elsewhere in the studio's catalogue, the record-smashing opening weekend for its latest movie, Incredibles 2, is an fantastic result. Previously, the seat was taken by "Finding Dory", after it earned $135 million in its opening weekend in 2016.

It's not surprising: the film is a much-anticipated Pixar sequel, a superhero movie, a summer release, etc. Incredibles 2 is also the third largest opening this year, just behind two other superhero movies: Avengers: Infinity War and Black Panther! The film went on to gross $633 million and win an Oscar for best animated film.

Moab residents return to burned down homes after fire
Despite the scale of the 416, there still has been no reports of any deaths or injuries and no homes have burned down. The entire San Juan National Forest remains closed to the public due to firefighting activity.

Bob Odenkirk, Jonathan Banks, Catherine Keener, Sophia Bush, and Brad Bird also lend their voices to the film, which Bird wrote and directed.

Lewis expanded on this concern in a blog post titled The Real Villain In Incredibles 2 - Strobe Lights (NO SPOILERS).

The early reviews have also been fantastic, scoring a very healthy 94% on Rotten Tomatoes from the U.S. critics.

Warner Bros. and Village Roadshow Pictures' women-led heist comedy film "Ocean's 8" moved to second place with an estimated 19.55 million dollars in its second weekend. Sandra Bullock stars as Danny Ocean's sister Debbie, who recruits a group of women, including Cate Blanchett, Mindy Kaling, Rihanna, Awkwafina, Sarah Paulson, Helena Bonham Carter, and Anne Hathaway, to steal millions of dollars worth of jewels from the Met gala.
