Kemba Walker could be in play for Cavaliers

Since the National Basketball Association insists on holding its draft before the start of free agency, the Cavs have quite the dilemma when it comes to the No. 8 overall pick on Thursday night.

If James decides to opt into his player option for the 2018-19 season with the Cavaliers, the Lakers would be willing to trade Ball to Cleveland for James, according to ESPN's Chris Haynes. Pictured: James #23 and O'Neal #32 of the Eastern Conference All-Stars smile on the bench in the final moments of the East's win over the Western Conference All-Stars in the 54th All-Star Game, part of 2005 NBA All-Star Weekend at Pepsi Center in Denver, Colorado, on February 20, 2005. O'Neal was traded from Miami to Phoenix during the 2007 season and spent the following year there as well.

"Obviously, I'd love to play with LeBron the rest of my career, but that will be a choice that he makes", Love said.

All of the above makes it nearly impossible to envision the Cavs being able to swing a trade for disgruntled San Antonio Spurs star Kawhi Leonard.

Kevin Love has been mentioned in a lot of trade talks since he joined the Cleveland Cavaliers via a trade.

It doesn't look like that's going to happen, though.

Assuming you read the disclaimer and are still here, I would assume you want to hear why Houston can be a good fit for LeBron James.

"If you don't think LeBron's people and [Gilbert] have been talking you're wrong".

As a bit of a side note on Love, my source also tells me the Cavs are "not high on Kevin Love" and are "likely to move on from him if the opportunity arises to get better talent".

In terms of controlling the narrative, my source made it clear to me that LeBron and his camp will do just that throughout the whole process.

It's worth mentioning that Kawhi Leonard wants out of San Antonio and reports are the Spurs won't trade him within the Western Conference. I knew that question would come, but I like to be here. So it's safe to assume James will be fielding texts from other guys in the league way before the start of July.
