Amazon may have spilled the beans for Prime Day 2018

However, it also started at 6pm BST in the United Kingdom, so assuming Amazon will do a worldwide rollout similar to previous year, expect Prime Day 2018 to start on the evening of July 16 and end in the morning of July 18, regardless of where you live. Amazon Prime Day 2018 will begin on July 16, giving you a little less than a month to save up for some fantabulous deals - assuming you're an Amazon Prime member, that is. That's all according to a Prime Day 2018 banner published on the Amazon UK website - presumably in error - and discovered by TechRadar this morning. The reveal of this date also breaks Amazon's recent pattern of having Prime Day on the second Tuesday in July. The final game of the football tournament takes place on July 15th, a day before Prime Day 2018 is supposed to launch. After all, Prime Day turned out to be a monster sales event for the online retailer, at least as big as Black Friday when it comes to overall success. Users can now opt to pay and use Amazon Prime monthly at Rs 129/month, or continue to opt for the yearly subscription package at Rs 999/year.

The 2017 event lasted for 30 hours and was open to shoppers in 13 countries.
