Samsung Galaxy J6 with Infinity Display Launch on May 21: Features, Specifications

Samsung has sent out invites for the launch of its Galaxy J6 in India on 21 May. The smartphone will be launched at an event in Mumbai and it will go on sale in stores from May 22.

Samsung, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer has announced its next in Galaxy J series (J stands for Joy) on the Twitter page. It will look to capture the market share once again with the feature-rich Galaxy J6 which has the iconic design language of the Galaxy S8 and the Galaxy S9 series.

The images accessed by the folks over at The Mobile Indian clearly reveal the maximum retail price (MRP) of both the upcoming Galaxy smartphones. Based on the photo shared, the Galaxy J6 will not have any side bezels, though it will continue to have the top and bottom bezel. Talking about the specifications, the upcoming Android phone will boast Infinity Display with 18:9 aspect ratio.

Although hardware specs of the Galaxy J6 are scarce as of now, rumour has it that the phone will come with a 5.6-inch 720p+ AMOLED display and an Exynos processor inside.

How Analysts Feel About Pearson plc (LON:PSON)?
RELX PLC provides information and analytics for professional and business clients in North America, Europe, and internationally. The stock of Premier Oil plc (LON:PMO) has "Underweight" rating given on Tuesday, November 21 by Barclays Capital.

The J6 is expected to be a budget offering and will be priced in the Rs 15,000 to Rs 20,000 bracket. Despite running the modern Android 8.0 Oreo OS, this thing packs a pretty awful 2GB RAM and an outdated Exynos 7870 processor, which probably means the so-called J7 Aero won't be similar to the India-exclusive J7 Duo after all. Galaxy J6 will have a 2GB, 3GB and 4GB RAM options, along with 32GB and 64GB storage, which will be expandable.

The model will run on Android 8.0 Oreo and powered by 3000 mAh.

Among the four devices, at least two are reported to come with a dual camera setup and we already know that the Galaxy A6 Plus features a 16MP + 5MP camera setup at the back and the Galaxy J6 may be the second device with a dual camera setup.
