Roseanne Barr blames Ambien for racist tweet. The drug maker responds

After saying she thought it was "amazing" that ABC canceled her show, Whoopi addressed Roseanne directly.

Hours after ABC axed her show for her offensive tweet about former Obama adviser Valerie Jarrett - and quickly breaking a promise to stay off Twitter - the comedian was back on the social media platform. But the speed by which many of those involved in the production and distribution of the highly-rated show are distancing themselves seems to suggest that ABC had realised the Barr situation was reaching a boil prior to Tuesday, though perhaps not until after they signed for another season in late March. "I am now leaving Twitter".

Barr had earlier apologized to members of the cast and crew, but the tweet was deleted.

She continued: "I think Joe Rogan is right about Ambien".

This is the same White House whose leader had time to tweet support for conservative activist and frequent Black Lives Matter critic Tomi Lahren after Fox News reported that she had water thrown on her forearm at a restaurant.

"It can rarely be determined with certainty whether a particular instance of the abnormal behaviors listed above is drug induced, spontaneous in origin, or a result of an underlying psychiatric or physical disorder", the company says.

The 2018 reboot of the popular sitcom had been attracting high ratings-even while some jokes drew controversy and as Barr kept up her well-established record of promoting baseless, right-wing conspiracy theories.

Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is also expected to meet with European leaders to discuss Iran next week. After Lavrov's comments, Israel called for its arch-foe Iran to be denied any military presence in Syria .

Barr was also ridiculed for saying that she was on Ambien when she tweeted the racist message.

Roseanne may have been canceled, but its fallen star doesn't plan on going anywhere. Sykes had responded to Barrs invective by announcing via Twitter that she wouldnt return to the show. "She also retweeted a false picture of me".

Roseanne still acknowledged her tweet was not in good taste asked her fans not to defend her sleep-induced comments. She criticized Democratic financier George Soros and tweeted that Chelsea Clinton was "Chelsea Soros Clinton", implying she was married to a nephew of Soros.

It was uncertain what statements from the TV network Trump was referring to.

But cancelling "Roseanne" is "like taking off "All in the Family" or "I Love Lucy" or Andy Griffith at their zenith", he said. "I'm just not married to one".

The Trump administration has proved that it doesn't mind weighing in on racial matters when it is to attack political opponents or affirm those praising the president.

Barr's agent also dropped her and several services pulled "Roseanne" reruns.
