Concussed Love questionable for National Basketball Association finals opener

The Cavs are playing the Golden State Warriors in the finals for the fourth straight year.

Golden State trailed by 11 at halftime after being behind at the break by 10 points in Game 6, becoming the first team to win multiple elimination games in the same series when trailing by double digits after two quarters.

One man can only do so much.LeBron James against all odds brought his Cleveland Cavaliers to the National Basketball Association finals for the fourth year in a row despite getting nearly zero help from his teammates. "I can't think of a bigger gap from a team perspective".

Stop me if you've heard this one: The Golden State Warriors will play the Cleveland Cavaliers in the best-of-seven NBA Finals.

This is the big one.

Oddsmakers are in agreement, and have made the Cavaliers a 12-point underdog for Game 1 on Thursday night - the largest point spread for a Finals-opening game since peach baskets.

"You've got to appreciate the moment", Warriors guard Stephen Curry said. "But any game they get in this Finals would be a huge upset to me". With the championship round just an arm's reach away, the Rockets are ready to retool and take another stab at the Finals next year.

Do you hear Yanny or Laurel? We explain the odd auditory illusion
Now, it's Yanny or Laurel , and the internet is firmly taking sides... for the most part. Several researchers agreed that the audio recording is just too ambiguous.

Say hello to the NBA's newest rivalry: Warriors versus Rockets.

That said, the Warriors' strategy against James, in the past, has been to mix things up - give him a bunch of different defenders and looks and make him think. Houston went 47-35 on the way to the 1995 title; to find another champion who was worse, go back to Washington in 1978 when the Bullets were a mere 44-38.

If Van Gundy were a neutral fan or bookmaker, that opinion would not be surprising.

In addition to having LeBron on their side, the Cavaliers do have another hope to lean on: This 2017-18 season has seen the mighty Warriors play bored at times, thinking they can just fire up 3-pointers and win games. "We talked about it leaving this building after Game 5, this was a part of our story that we hadn't been through before". They marched through the Eastern Conference. Before we had eight or nine days to settle in; we hadn't played and had trouble trying to get our rhythm.

"I didn't recognize the group that we were seeing". "The games will either excite people, the results will either excite people".

This postseason, there is one thing Warriors forward Draymond Green is doing almost twice as much as some of his high-profile teammates, more than LeBron James and more than every playmaking point guard that was in the playoffs - passing the ball.
